It’s a bit chilly today.  Not really a typical sorbet day but this stuff is awesome.  This sorbet is incredibly easy to make and your kiddos will truly think they are eating something trashy.  I love it when healthy food tastes decadent!

We added a bit of lemon oil to the Tropical Mango Sorbet to give it more pop and flavor.  Lemon oil is also a great detox and helps to flush out your organs.   In addition, this sorbet is full of potassium, beta-carotnine and vitamin C.  This is also a great, kid-friendly recipe that the littles can virtually manage on their own.

You do need a high power blender for this recipe.  We use a VitaMix.  We have had ours for over 10 years and it’s still chugging along.  Worth.  Every.  Penny.

Tropical Mango Sorbet

  • 1 cup of frozen mango chunks
  • 1 banana
  • 2 drops of lemon essential oil

Make sure that your lemon essential oil is safe for consumption.  The brand that I use and recommend can be used as a food additive.  Message me for more info!

Add all ingredients to the blender.  Blend and tamp down until desired consistency and fully mixed.  Enjoy!
