This is one of my favorite recipes and it has an amazing secret ingredient. Avocados. Even avocado haters will devour this. Trust me.
I call it DIP because it can be used as a dip as well as a cake icing. And for those of us who just can’t stand it, it it straight out of the bowl as a pudding. I’m content with a spoon.
doTERRA Chocolate Orange Satin Dip
1/2 agave nectar
1/4 cup raw cocoa powder
2 Tbsp coconut cream concentrate (coconut milk is fine)
1 Tbsp vanilla
dash of salt
5 drops of Wild Orange essential oil
Blend in a high speed blender until smooth. Enjoy!
For those who are reluctant to use agave, I have subbed xylitol with great success. I omitted the agave, added 1/3 cup of xylitol, added 8 drops of stevia and increased the coconut milk to 3/4 cup. Perfect!
