It’s the season for sinus issues and stuffy noses. Last night, my daughter was really struggling. Her nose was stuffy and she was having difficulty breathing. She is such a sweet-natured child and it just breaks my heart to see her suffering.
When I was little and had a stuffy nose, my mom would create a steam tent. She took a big bowl, filled it with hot water and added some Vick’s Vapor Rub. I would sit over the bowl with a towel draped over my head and inhale the steamy vapors. And it really worked. This is my natural, portable version of the Vick’s steam tent. And you know what? It works!
Consider adding 2 drops of oregano and 2 drops of melaleuca essential oils. Oregano has antibacterial properties and melaleuca is an anti-viral. Be sure to cover your eyes as this can be a mighty powerful concoction. One of the things that I like about the Sinus Steamer is that is is useful throughout the day, even after the heat in the water wears off. You will find it to be potent 12 hours later and longer.
